Hi!
My name is Lisa. I reside near Deep Creek Lake, Maryland after being a D.C. Washingtonian — as the saying goes, the mountains called and I went! I thrive on creative eloquence equally to the beauty of the mountains and rivers of Appalachia.

While I get a quirky thrill from the art of impeccable attention to detail, what truly makes my day is connecting my client to their audience. My aim is to empathize with the needs of you and your users, to understand the big picture, and create imaginative and striking products that help everyone be successful — making the world a better place.

Whether you are looking for a new brand, steady retainer design work, or anything in between, small or large, let's make something great!
Lisa excels at listening to clients' needs and translating them into beautiful, effective designs. While her creativity is impressive, she's also incredibly efficient and knows how far a brand's identity can be pushed. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate her reliable work, ease of working with, and professionalism. Working with her is an absolute pleasure!

Background
Senior Graphic Designer with 7 years of experience, employed with an in-house creative team and now working as an independent freelance/subcontractor. My finest skill is the ability to interpret client needs and the insight to visualize both big picture solutions as well as the tiny creative details that make designs stand out.

My expertise incorporates the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Word and PowerPoint; Print and Digital Collateral, Social Media, Production, Visual Identity Standards, Collaboration, Concepting, and Strategic Planning.

I have worked with small businesses, B2B firms, and a trade association in the energy industry with divisions that included government affairs, legal, conferences, communications, and engineering.

Additionally, my background includes the science, government and emergency medicine fields. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. Geography, which I used as a GIS Technician on a FEMA contract. I have ten years of active experience with emergency medicine as an EMT, as a Search and Rescue Technician, and as a ski patroller with an Outdoor Emergency Care certification.
